Objectmachines
Objectmachines is a collection of processes that generate objects, surfaces and architecture. Some aim to open possibilty spaces of shapes, some visualize otherwise abstract data while others are purely aesthetic explorations.

from a central cube pathes of cubes decreasing in size travel into space, never going back nor up or down.

an object is created from the sound of the word ‘no’ recorded from the microphone.

cubes are scaled, rotated and translated step by step to form a sculpture.

mindless, wandering objects leave trails.

a series of 20 greyscale images is grabbed from a camera. the frames create a 3 dimensional stack of pixels. in the stack, a surface is created on a threshold somewhere between black and white.

a series of slabs are arranged along a surface defined by bezier lines.

an isosurface created by a forcefield penetrates a cube.

like #0005 except with inverted rotation matrices.

the vertices of an object are replaced by equally sized scales and oriented along the object s surface.

the brightness of pixels taken from a heavily stretched photograph a mapped onto the height of a mesh surface.

particles are forced through a field of spherical deflectors.
the particles leaves ribbon-like trails as they move.

tubes travel along arches by changing their orientation step by step, decreasing their radius until it reaches zero.
